− | Hi Bernardo
| + | Hey, my name is Bernardo Cardona. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and came to Canada about 13 years ago. I have graduated with my Bachelor of Education Degree from York University with teachable subjects in Mathematics and Physics at the Intermediate/Senior level. In addition, I graduated with a B.Sc. Honors Double Major degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics. Currently, I am working on finishing my Master of Education with a graduate diploma in Mathematics Education from York University. So, it's safe to say that I've spent a good amount of time at York University. In fact, September of this year will mark my 7th year at York. |

| + | At the moment, I am working as a High School teacher; teaching anything that relates to Mathematics, Physics, Science, and Computers. Besides working during the morning at the High school and completing my Master's courses in the afternoon, I also enjoy bouldering (rock climbing with no harness), watching shows, playing video games, and reading books. |

| + | A few days a week, you'll find me coaching Richmond Hill's lifesaving team and often times swimming myself. While I don't do the usual competitive swimming events, I do compete for lifeguard competitions that are broken down into 3 major categories: First aid rescues, Pool events, and Waterfront (beach) events. I specialize in the first aid portion which requires a team of 4 people to work together and treat victims the quickest and most accurate in a given amount of time. I also do most swimming events involving throwing ropes, carrying manikins and using fins! I have traveled all around the country for provincial, and national competitions and have gone abroad to compete internationally! |

− | [[Production Response 1 #BC]] | + | During my many years at York University, I have made friends that helped me through the many challenges that came along my journey. Some of them I met in my first year and I'm still taking courses with them now. You can find their pages here [[Melissa]] and [[Vima]]. Others I met more recently while doing my Master's programs like [[Amanda]], [[Alice]] and [[Anthony]]. |

| + | I have had the pleasure of having [[Kurt Thumlert]] as my professor a total of three times now! In all of his courses, I am pushed to discover and learn new things that I never thought I could have learned. My first course with him was in undergrad and I learned how to make a game using RPG maker, my second course with him would come over 3 years later while working on my Masters. The first time I registered for his Master's program I had to drop out, as my schedule got too busy to handle everything I was trying to juggle, but I vowed to come back and take his course. I did the following year and I was able to use Twine to make another game—a Murder Mystery this time! I am very excited to see what I will learn and produce in this course! |
