Please, tell me about this illustrious miracle!

Jade Dawn Hines of Clan Fraser of Lovat was born in the year 11987 HE. She has a degree in Arts and Contemporary Studies from Ryerson, one awarded after an undergraduate career that spanned 11 years because life's a bitch like that. Currently doing a Masters in Communication Culture, she's looking forward to the class. I study how people use mass-media to articulate something about themselves, or take such media and make it their own. I also research human society from the Victorian age to the detonation of Trinity, and in my spare time I love learning about nuclear physics... yep. I'm shit at these, you never know how much you want to share. So... fuck it, besides- no one really cares what university you went to.

Professional life: Ghostwrote porn for adult websites, games, and dating programs. I don't do it anymore, but it was something to get up at 0600h every morning, commute to an office, sit down at a desk, and then write the filthiest, most irredeemable smut you can imagine for eight hours.

Semi-Professional life: Self-published a novel under the pen name Jaydra Dawn. It's called Sanctuary, and is about a man named Victor Roseland who's on the verge of securing his family's future, when a disgruntled ex-business partner threatens to expose his family's secrets if he's not cut in on the deal. Victor's wife is a sociopath with a long history of violence, his daughter used to be his son, and he's currently having an affair with their governess, who (unbeknownst to him) is also having an affair with his wife. It's a tale old as time, but I like to think I did a fine job of it.

Christ almighty on a stick I'm buying a copy right now, tell me more!!

Books that changed my life: Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell, Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey. The former taught me that the world had depth, the latter taught me that someone like myself could be strong.

Top 5 Movies of All Time: Lost in Translation, Moulin Rouge, Fight Club, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and Stardust.

Life is short, and likely a lot shorter than you think it is. Enjoy it. We only get one shot before the void.
