Hi friends

I am Sahra Mohamed, Somali by nationality and born in Somalia. When I left Somalia I was about five years old and almost remember nothing about my home country. I am one of the refugees who stayed in Dadaab camps since its inception in 1991 and grew up in Dadaab refugee camps, especially Dagahaley but living in Nairobi for four years. For all those years I never thought of returning home one day. I worked for Care International in Kenya as Deputy Head Teacher in 2012-2015. Despite all challenges I had encountered in achieving higher Education in the Refugees finally, I was given the chance of joining the BHER Program, from INSTEP-program and, thanks to God Today I am pursuing my graduate studies in York University. I see myself as someone who strong and has a higher aim of accomplishment in life.
